WHAT DOCTORS ARE LEARNING FROM AUTOPSY FINDINGS OF COVID PATIENTS. What are the most common symptoms of covid fever? Cough, shortness of breath which is also common, body aches. But COVID-19 is sometimes more than just a respiratory disease or sometimes it's not there respiratory disease at all, can mimic almost any disease, sometimes looks like the common cold. Sometimes looks like influenza, sometimes looks like abdominal pain accompanied by diarrhea abdominal pain, maybe some nausea, vomiting loss of appetite it can cause red eyes, everyone knows loss of taste and smell, sometimes even a rash all over the body or area the skin is swollen and reddish in just a few spots it is also kidney damage, this heart damage is part of the patient's heart that has been severe. Covid disease This patient has inflamed lungs with ards and a small lump in his lung and that's causing him.His right ventricle has difficulty pumping blood to his lungs and that is what causes his right ventricle weaken and become dilated. So, as I mentioned, severe illness causes blood clots. Many patients when a clot is found in their lungs it is called a pulmonary embolism.
Some COVID-19 patients have had strokes due to blood clots in their brains. Covid also presents itself in other ways, sometimes with seizures as well as guillain-barre syndrome, which makes it very difficult to diagnose and even harder to treat. This disease can appear in many ways, there has never been a disease in the history of mankind which is presented in various ways about how this virus invades our bodies and causes disease there are some things we know some things we think we know and then some things we do not we know.
How about we start with what we know. When the virus lands in our eyes, nose or mouth or sometimes when we breathe into our lungs the viral spike protein binds to the h2 receptors on certain cell surfaces and that's how the receptors enter. This H2 is found in many different parts of the body, once a virus enters it doesn't just make millions of copies of itselfbut, it also changes the ability of the cells to call for help, just as infected cells cannot call the police, at least not initially after the virus becomes deeply ingrained in our bodies.
To cause a more severe disease this is where a direct attack is made on other organs that have h2 receptors. It can occur in the heart muscle including the kidneys, blood vessels, liver and brain. Preliminary findings including for some autopsy and biopsy reports showed that virus particles could not be found only in the nasal cavity and throat but also in kidney feces, pancreas liver and tears One case report found evidence of a viral particle in CSF, which means cerebral spinal fluid. This is the fluid around the brain of the patient who eventually develops meningitis.
Oh, I forgot to mention the previous one so this virus can also cause meningitis which is inflammation of the membranes covering the brain and spinal cord and here is an electron microscopic picture of the virus and kidney cells. And to give you a one-nanometer perspective is one-tenth of a million the size of a centimeter the red arrow points at the virus and the green arrow shows the virus spike. And the virus as a whole is about 65 nanometers in sizein diameter so that the virus sometimes enters all of these different organs by attaching to existing ac2 receptors. However, that's not even the whole story because in some cases when the immune system finds out that the body is under attack, it's like being released by the military to eradicate the virus and in the process there is a lot of additional damage. This is what we call a cytokine storm rant, which is chemokine that is thought to play a big role. Play a role in the covid 19 cytokine storm which binds to the ccr5 receptor on cd4 and cd8t lymphocytes essentially spreading the inflammation further and possibly spreading further clotting. Oh, I forgot to mention the previous one so this virus can also cause meningitis which is inflammation of the membrane.
Doctor Mike Hansen
When the virus gets into the alveolar cells which means the tiny air sacs in the lungs it makes multiple copies of itself and then goes on to attack more cells in the next alveoli. Next door neighbors guess who yes, the thinnest blood vessels in your body are capillaries.
So the capillary layer is called the endothelium which also has h2 and once receptors he virus attacks the capillaries of boys. Oh boy that's when the immune system is triggered af like the paf paf stands for platelet activating factor also known as acetylglycerol ether phosphoryl choline, anything but paf this is a big deal as it's a powerful phospholipid activator. So what does that mean it serves as a trigger for inflammation and clotting attacks. Initial autopsy results also showed widespread clotting in multiple organs in one study from the Netherlands one-third of patients treated. Change change is a two-step process of determining the type of person you want to prove yourself with a small win there once lived as a girl I didn't live a healthy lifestyle and when I wanted to change I struggled with consistency I found that even when I tried to apply some of these healthy habits, they will only last a short time until I return to my unhealthy self. I became afraid to jump back on the path of health, because I waited for myself to fail. It was then that I learned the importance of identity in lasting behavior change, which is not in harmony with identity will not last, is one thing that must be done.
I am the type of person who wants to be healthy it's something completely different to say I'm the type of person who is healthy every time you follow that habit like a suggestion hey maybe this, who am I? I'm going to share ten healthy habits and a reward for each habit because our brain is a behavioral reward detector followed by satisfying consequences that tend to recur when I'm my unhealthy self.
I don't drink much water and as a result I have headaches, fatigue, body aches. I just feel nauseous as soon as I start drinking more water, all of which is lost and replaced with energy of mental clarity and healthy joints. Personally I don't like the taste of plain water so I drink herbal tea. Now I am not always the biggest fan of herbal teas but, I conditioned my mind to love and crave them. How I do well it starts on a hot summer day. I ordered iced tea and my sister was driving music from the window downstairs. I feel it's a great summer energy and when I feel that great feeling, I drink tea, I start to associate this happy summer feeling with iced tea and today first thing in the morning I go down and prepare a cup of iced tea green and we'll take it everywhere. day and every time i drink it. I get the feeling and picture in my head about the summer euphoria of starting to drink a glass of water before meals for extra health, add two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to your water because, there are many health benefits your brain is greatly affected by hydration. Status studies show that even mild dehydration can impair many aspects of brain functio.

These are super easy and delicious things you can do to make small changes to your plate to feel more energized and alive for the new year. And I just wanted to give this video a disclaimer. It's not at all like, diet food or the things I think you should do to be healthy. It's like any other alternative you can try, maybe this one instead of that. Not everything is junk food, and I personally eat junk food occasionally, I just don't make it part of my daily eating habits. So I just wanted to share some of these with you. Hope you guys try it. Let me know how you feel after trying it and let's get straight to the video.
Instead of sugary cereal, why not choose puffed grains like kamut or brown rice? There are many options. It's perfect with a few berries and a dash of almond milk and you've got a delicious bowl of cereal without all the added sugar.
Second, what if you swapped your white sugar for coconut sugar? It's just as sweet, has a great caramel flavor, and works perfectly for your morning cup of coffee.
Number three, we have chewing gum. Why not try swapping it for dried fruit? I love dried pineapple, cranberries, and dates. They are a wonderful alternative to dry candy. They are very sweet and chewy and you can feel comfortable eating them because they have no artificial coloring.
Furthermore, we have sports drinks, which are available in a wide variety of colors. I like to replace it with coconut water. It's filled with electrolytes, naturally sweetened, and so refreshing after a good workout. Put it in a water bottle and take it to your next workout.
Instead of a mayonnaise-based vegetable sauce, why not add it to hummus? You can even make your own or buy them at the store. It's basically just chickpeas and tahini and is delicious with vegetables.
Here's the fun: how about swapping your Parmesan cheese for nutritional yeast? If you haven't tried it before, give it a try. It's basically a deactivated yeast that tastes very cheesy and tastes amazing sprinkled on top of your pasta.
The following are just fun options if you are tired of plain rice. Why not try cauliflower rice? It's basically just raw cauliflower mixed in a food processor and you have something that looks like rice and works perfectly in a stir fry.
For lunch next Sunday, instead of fried eggs in oil, why not try poached eggs? You're skipping the oil because you're only using water to cook it and that's great on avocado toast.
Now, who doesn't love mayonnaise? It is very addicting and delicious. But it's not always the best for you if you eat a lot. So why not try some delicious, ripe mashed avocado? It works wonderfully on toast. You can literally put it in anything and it has a creamy, buttery taste and texture. How amazing is that display?
How about dumping your favorite soda or pop for sparkling water with fresh lime? Lime adds a hint of sweetness and flavor and sparkling water makes you feel like you are drinking soda.
Tell me, doesn't this look much more refreshing? Give it a try, I think you will like it. If you're tired of wraps or slices of bread, why not give some lettuce? It is very refreshing and crunchy and you can fill it with whatever you like. I had shredded chicken and salsa. Prepare a little for lunch, and you will be delighted to have extra vegetables in your diet.
Try swapping your spaghetti for some noodles. Zoodles are simply zucchini that has spiraled. It's great to eat. You can make it raw, steamed, sauteed, as you like. They are great to eat and they add extra greens to your diet. Additionally, you can twist it around the fork like spaghetti.
fried pliers can be really tasty, I get it. But what if instead of making packaged fries, you could chop the sweet potatoes into chunks, roast them in a little coconut oil and sea salt, and they'll be just as crunchy as any other. Equally good dipped in organic tomato sauce.
How about ditching those french fries for the popcorn that pops up? It tastes good, is much healthier, and you can.
Top 5 Reasons to Quit Smoking (Lung Doctor Explains) | Benefits of Quitting Smoking.
Okay, so the biggest reasons to quit smoking are the most obvious ones that are really bad for your, health. Tobacco smoke contains more than 7000 chemicals including hundreds of which are poisonous in about 70 which can cause cancer meaning, carcinogenic there are three very dangerous chemicals namely: tar, carbon monoxide and nicotine, so tar is a substance that becomes sticky in the lungs and tar itself is actually made up of a collection of chemicals known as carcinogens. Carbon monoxide is a colorless and odorless gas that binds to the hemoglobin in your red blood cells and therefore allows less oxygen to bind to the hemoglobin in your blood and ultimately results in less oxygen being delivered to your tissues in your body. Nicotine is an addictive chemical that enters the bloodstream and spreads to all parts of the body. the body including the brain when someone inhales a cigarette.
The nicotine they breathe is absorbed by the blood in the capillaries in the lungs and this id is sent to various parts of the body when the heart pumps it in the arteries. Nicotine comes in many forms but in the end all forms of nicotine are bad for your, health, cigarettes is the most popular tobacco product. There are some cigarettes that claim to have less tar and less nicotine which are called lighter cigarettes but what usually happens is that people tend to inhale longer and / or smoke more. Quit Smoking. From this lighter cigarette to maintaining the same nicotine level in the end. They end up spending more money on cigarettes and end up getting the same amount of nicotine in their bodies. Regardless of the possibility of them getting a smoking-related disease now.
What about smokeless tobacco also smokeless tobacco can still cause cancer and other health. Quit Smoking, the problem is that in other words chewing tobacco or inhaling which I am talking about here is in fact chewing tobacco increases the risk of oral cancer by about 50 times compared to people who do not use chewing tobacco and there is still a possibility that this chewing tobacco can cause, cancer, in other parts of the body as well but this is not yet 100 proven.
In the case of smoking either from a cigarette or ciga water pipe. Quit Smoking.Tobacco, nicotine, puts you at a higher risk for all kinds of diseases. Inhaling tobacco smoke requires inhaling toxic gases and tar particles and ultimately damages the lungs. Not only can it cause damage to the lungs so that people develop inflammation of the airways. means, bronchitis, but, they can also develop different forms of pneumonia apart from copd and emphysema, it can also contribute to other types of lung disease something we call Interstitial lung disease these include things like pulmonary fibrosis where you have scar tissue lungs which can cause non. Types of infectious pneumonia such as acute eosinophilic pneumonia in addition to lung, interstitial, discriminatory and interstitial bronchiolitis lung disease. Inhalation also smokers are more likely to get respiratory, viruses, such as flu and of course are now shrouded 19.
Quit Smoking. Smoking also dramatically increases the risk of developing coronary, artery, disease including increasing the risk of having a heart attack, but it also increases the risk of diseases that affect blood vessels in other parts of the body such as blood vessels in the brain. And therefore it increases the risk of, stroke, also increases the risk of peripheral artery disease, where there is narrowing of the arteries in the legs so that it is painful when walking, also increases the risk of getting blood clots in any part of the body. It increases the risk of developing, aortic, aneurysms, meaning areas of the aorta are weakened and sometimes when people have an aortic, aneurysms. The aorta can rupture causing life-threatening bleeding when people have the aorta rupture they usually cannot survive.
When it comes to smoking and cancer, it is interesting to note that women are more likely to develop lung cancer than men. Quit Smoking. Now that lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in women, it actually takes more women's lives than breast cancer, cervical cancer, uterine, and, ovarian cancer. Combined cancer also women who smoke have a harder time getting pregnant compared to those who don't.
Women who smoked during pregnancy were far more likely to have underweight babies defined as , babies, born less than five and a half pounds of low birth weight. Chances of dying during the first month of life are compared with infants of normal weight. Quit Smoking, also smoking during pregnancy has been associated with a higher rate of miscarriage and still births. And children born to mothers who smoked during pregnancy were also more likely to have brains. Damage to cerebral palsy and behavioral problems.
Now when it comes to the reproductive system in men, smoking is known to contribute to this, erectile, dysfunction. Quit Smoking. That's because smoking slows down blood flow to the penis and if a man stops smoking he is less likely to develop erectile dysfunction than a man who doesn't quit. Quit Smoking.
Quit Smoking. So, there are other health problems that are more likely to arise in smokers for example, smokers are at greater risk of developing heartburn, there is also a high likelihood of developing vision problems in old age. Adults such as cataracts and macular degeneration also have a higher chance of developing osteoporosis in women.
Okay, reason number two is that Quit Smoking affects the way you see people who smoke are more likely to develop, wrinkled, skin, and have, yellow, teeth, and, yellow, nails.
Number three is that Quit Smoking this foul smell gives you the smell that surrounds you and also gives you, bad, breath. And Quit Smoking number four, affects the health of other people around you, so many people want to know how dangerous secondhand smoke is, making sure that inhaling secondhand smoke increases the risk of getting many of the same diseases as smokers, and this includes lung, cancer, disease. coronary arteries such as heart attacks and also strokes and other, diseases. And passive smoking causes more than 40,000, deaths, in the United States each year. Quit Smoking.
Children who smoke have more ear infections and respiratory ailments such as asthma and, bronchitis. And babies exposed to parents who smoke have a greater risk of dying from sudden infant death syndrome. Of course secondhand smoke is not as bad as people who smoke themselves, but it is still, dangerous. Quit Smoking. Many people will do things like blow smoke the other way or roll down the car window or blow smoke out the window of a house and while this may be better than not doing it when it comes for cigarette smoke it is still not effective at protecting the people around them from cigarette smoke also air purifiers and other technologies that filter smoke or clean their air do not completely eliminate other people's cigarette smoke there is also a third hand smoke problem where the harmful chemicals from the smoke end up settles in clothes and furniture and what can stay there for months the problem is the smoke residue that stays on walls and carpets and other surfaces they can react with a common indoor air pollutant called nitrous oxide and when the two react, they can form nitrosamines which last for months and these nitrosamines are carcinogens so this is another reason why it is important for people to Quit Smoking. Not only for their own health but also for the, health of those around them okay the fifth reason is that smoking costs a lot of, money, if you stop smoking, Quit Smoking, you will probably save a lot of money and the cheapest cigarettes are on the market. Eat missouri for an average price of five dollars per pack so if you are a smoker one pack per day.
That's eighteen hundred dollars a year and if you lived in new york you would double that so you end up paying thirty six hundred dollars a year if you were a pack a day smoker in the state of new york now at this point you may already know the benefits of quitting however, the sooner you quit the greater the benefit, no matter how long or how heavily you smoke, the sooner you quit, the better we know that ex-smokers live longer than people who continue to smoke. They also have lower rates of lung disease, stroke, cancer, and, heart, disease. Quit Smoking.
Now some maybe wondering, what if I already have a smoking-related illness no matter what your illness is and the overall health will be better if you Quit Smoking. Let me give you an example when it comes. For someone who has a heart attack, smokers who quit after a heart attack are less likely to have another heart attack and are less likely to die of, heart ,disease many times, especially as we get older and need surgery. A person who does not smoke, even if they usually smoke is better equipped to heal and they are less likely to experience complications related to surgery or less likely to experience complications related to anesthesia associated with surgery and other benefits of quitting smoking,Quit Smoking is one that i mentioned earlier that is, you will save a lot of, money.
So let's talk about what happens when you Quit Smoking. What happens to your body so that in one day your body will clean all, carbon, monoxide, from your system and when It happens to your blood especially your, hemoglobin, which carries oxygen it will carry oxygen more efficiently and in the end send more oxygen to your tissues in your body in a more efficient way within a week of your breath, getting better hair, fingers and their teeth all become cleaner. You have a better sense of taste and smell and once you reach that one week mark, you no longer have the worst withdrawal symptoms, usually after about a month of stopping the cilia in the airways in your lungs start to recover and excrete more a lot of mucus from your lungs. So cilia are tiny hair-like microscopic structures that line the airways. You also notice that within a month after Quitting Smoking there will be less sinus congestion and they will become b e
You are less likely to experience fatigue and feel short of breath after one year of quitting smoking. The risk of having a heart attack or stroke decreases after a few years of stopping, Quit Smoking. The risk of heart disease is half that of smokers and also after a few years the risk of lung, cancer, decreases after 10 years of quitting the risk of dying from lung, cancer, is reduced by 50 percent compared with those who continue to smoke and after 15 years of quitting the risk of heart disease is actually the same as non-smoker. most people know that smoking is bad for health which is not really hot news but why it is so hard for people to quit What are the barriers preventing them from Quitting Smoking Most smokers wish they could Quit Smoking right away and Quit Smoking. with that already so let's talk about the obstacles people need to overcome in order for them to successfully quit. One of the biggest obstacles is, nicotine, withdrawal so nicotine is very addictive and wi withdrawal from chemicals causes physical changes to occur in the body especially in the brain withdrawal symptoms usually start within a few hours after the last cigarette and symptoms include difficulty concentrating feeling tired feeling anxious and being irritable, so this is the biggest hurdle for smokers to overcome. And these symptoms tend to be severe for at least the first two to three days after stopping. These symptoms then tend to gradually diminish over the course of a month or so without question physical withdrawal is the biggest hurdle but, then there's mental withdrawal as well. This is because smoking is usually such a part of a person's daily routine that they get used to smoking after eating or smoking with coffee or smoking in the morning. These are all habits and these habits are usually difficult to break.
Another obstacle is overcoming emotions we all have anger, frustration, boredom. Some people handle these emotions in different ways. Many people deal with these emotions by smoking. Often what happens is when a person experiences emotional distress which serves as a trigger to light a cigarette. Say Quit Smoking.
Another obstacle that must be overcome is the fact that when a person stops it is expected to gain an average of 5 maybe 10 pounds. Why does this happen so well nicotine reduces appetite and increases the body's, metabolism, so when you no longer have, nicotine, in your system. The opposite also happens when people stop they often replace food with cigarettes so to get regular to get mini dopamine fever to feel better, so of course it's always a good idea to do exercise every day. Quit Smoking.
Program whether someone smokes or not but more importantly do it and start a daily exercise program for people planning to Quit Smoking. because it will help them to minimize weight gain as well as,, nicotine withdrawal, symptoms, in women who are carrying children. Age is worse during the premenstrual phase and during menstruation. This is why it may be best for them to stop at the end of the period.
They are a lot of people asking the good question if I Quit Smoking can I start vaping instead of smoking to help me quit. So many people are trying to Quit Smoking by switching to e-cigarettes, aka vaping. And vaping requires the use of a battery-powered device that vaporizes a solution of, nicotine, dissolved in water and propylene glycol so, propylene glycol is a liquid that helps nicotine dissolve so e-cigarettes give a person the feeling of smoking but, without putting that tar and without putting, carbon, monoxide, in it. their lungs with thousands of other substances but, is this a good alternative to cigarettes? Perhaps better but, far from being ideal, the long term effects of e-cigarettes are still unknown as they are a relatively new product.
E-cigarettes have not been well studied but few studies so far shown that they can help regular smokers to Quit Smoking without causing harm at least in the short term. In one study, they were shown to be more or just as effective at quitting smoking compared to, nicotine, replacement products but, that was only one study. So we're still not sure and e-cigarettes haven't been compared to other approved drugs to Quit Smoking like varenicline or dischantix or bupropion also known as wellbutrin. Currently most experts recommend using this FDA-approved drug for smoking cessation, rather than e-cigarettes because its safety and efficacy are well known.
If someone decides to choose e-cigarettes to help them Quit Smoking with regular cigarettes, it is important that they switch completely to e-cigarettes and stop using regular cigarettes. This is because using the two together won't reduce the, health, risk as much as doing a total swish of course better not to smoke, or vape whatever a lot of people have been asking or asking about lung disease, vaping and that is another topic now.
If it's something you'd like me to go into in more detail, I'd be happy to do it, so I can create a separate video about it so let me know in the comments below. And also planning to make a video about the best way to Quit Smoking completely. So if you are a smoker and you are looking to, quit smoking, you will definitely want to check it out. Quit Smoking
